Culminating last August 23, 2018, the ceremony was attended by Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) Vice President for Retail Anthony Lawrence Yam, PSPC District Manager for Visayas Ricky Altonaga, Toyota Team Cebu Dealer Principal Kirsten Cuenco Nakayama, and Toyota Talisay Vehicle Sales Manager Elevic Jocson.
“We are really looking forward to teaming up with Toyota in Cebu. Both companies are two global brands who are committed to bringing more investment into the city and providing quality service to make all of our customers’ life journeys better”, Yam said.
Toyota Talisay is the largest dealership and the first to feature a Toyota-Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles (TCUV) stand-alone showroom in the country. It is only one among seven branches of Toyota Team Cebu, which also includes branches in Cebu City (MJ Cuenco), Mandaue North, Mandaue South, and Lapu-lapu in Cebu, and in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, and Tagbilaran, Bohol.
“Now that we are officially and exclusively recommending Shell, we are looking forward to extending the partnership to our other branches under Toyota Team Cebu”, Nakayama added.
With the partnership, Toyota Talisay now recommends the Shell V-Power fuels line for their vehicles. With breakthrough DYNAFLEX technology, the Shell V-Power line is designed to equip motorists with high-quality performance and efficiency to help their drives go well. Every vehicle purchase will now also come with a welcome kit containing a Shell Motorist Guidebook along with Shell Fuels and Shell Select and Deli2Go gift cards to help kickstart their journey.
By providing quality fuel products and services to motorists around the world, Shell gained its foothold as a global leader in power and energy sources for a reliable energy mix, producing smarter products and promoting its smarter use. Shell continuously builds smarter infrastructure, providing energy efficient engineering solutions that ultimately promote clean and efficient transport, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and a new energy feature to address the energy challenge.
